Someone commented asking for the recipe for the infamous "Chocolate Monkey" smoothie and I'd be delighted to oblige!
We make them at home, and instead of the soy milk we substitute chocolate milk and it doesn't taste quite the same -- more banana-y, but it's still good.
The following link sums up fairly close to what we do (aside from the flax and protein powder, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to add one/both in the mix!):
We've also tried chocolate frozen yogourt - mostly to try to achieve more of a chocolate taste. I'd also recommend possibly freezing older bananas...may have less of a 'green banana' taste.
